More information on the Florida Department of Management Services regarding a Dependent Eligibility Verification Audit

During the 2017 Legislative Session, the Florida Legislature directed the Department of Management Services (Department), Division of State Group Insurance (DSGI) to conduct a dependent eligibility verification audit to ensure accuracy in the State Group Health Insurance Program.

The audit affects everyone who has dependents on their health insurance, including retirees. The audit requires an official IRS Tax Return Transcript and a document signed by the spouse attesting that their spouse and dependents are eligible for health insurance.
